Kootenay Knitting has come a long way since Cathy began knitting from the spare bedroom in her home. As demand steadily and increasingly exceeded her supplies, the company began to take shape. Since then, the business has gone from household name to international fame under her guidance. Cathy continues to be the driving creative force behind the vibrant and colourful Kootenay designs.

Carol brings a long history of winter apparel experience to the Kootenay Knitting team. The third generation Kootenay girl got her start in retail, marketing and management while working in the winter resort industry. Having brought her experiences and enthusiasm to Kootenay Knitting, she ensures the operation continues to run smoothly.

After three decades holding down corporate management roles in outdoor apparel companies, Ron is the newest addition to Kootenay Knitting’s management team. With both feet now happily planted in the Kootenays, the company will be drawing on his many years of knowledge to keep the company fresh and well poised for every opportunity that presents itself.
